Art + Design Senior Exhibition Opens November 29th

In late November, the Ashland University Coburn Gallery will host the Senior Art Exhibition that features the capstone experience for graduating art and design majors at AU.
Bringing together the artwork made by graduating seniors in the Department of Art and Design, the Fall 2018 Senior Art Exhibition will open on Thursday, Nov. 29, with an opening reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Coburn Art Gallery located in the Center for the Arts on the Ashland University campus.
“While the 2018 Senior Art Exhibition provides the capstone experience for graduating art majors, it represents more than just students’ studio art experiences,” said Cynthia Petry, director of the Coburn Gallery. “For these students of the liberal arts, the exhibition is the culmination of their undergraduate careers at Ashland University.”
This year’s exhibition, which will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 16, includes digital art, painting, printmaking, graphic design and sculpture from three Senior Art Exhibition artists - Samantha Rhonemus, Ellyn Kilpatrick and Zula Kile.
