Upcoming Fall Exhibition Season

We are excited for our upcoming fall semester exhibitions: Brant Schuller-"Marking Time"-Prints and Drawings, Virginia Derryberry "Avatars"-Multi-Canvas Paintings and Senior Art Exhibition featuring Molly Livengood-ceramics, Ashley Haines-printmaking, Denise Gillette-digital art, and Liz Patrick-sculpture.

Congrats to Benjamin Duke

CONGRATS to Benjamin Duke ( one of our former exhibiting artists at the Coburn ) the winner of our 2012 Open Exhibition competition at the Target Gallery, Alexandria, Virginia. Duke was unanimously selected by a panel of three jurors from over 80 proposals. Duke presents his series Sublime Rupture, featuring large paintings defined by lush color and vibrant energy. August 4- September 2, 2012.

Marking Time

Installation for our new exhibition "Marking Time' begins on Wednesday. We are excited to have Brant Schuller's work in our gallery ! Exhibition opens August 13th. CLOSING RECEPTION Sept 20th. ARTIST TALK @5pm at the closing reception.

Art Camp Session 2-Next Week

Art Camp Session 2 still has openings for children 7-13 on July 23-27 from 9am -12noon. Art activities include papermaking, green sculpture and cartooning. $75.00 per child.
