On Friday, April 11, Ashland University is pleased to host Jacob Escobedo, vice president of creative design for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim’s Creative Group.
Escobedo began working as a freelance artist for Cartoon Network in 2000, and currently works with such hit shows as Adventure Time and Regular Show. Escobedo is also well known for his album cover art for bands including DangerMouse, The Shins, Broken Bells, and others.
Escobedo will be meeting with communications student in the morning of Friday, April 11 and will meet with art students in the afternoon. Exact times to be set yet.
The public is invited to attend a lecture he will present on his experiences in the art and media world. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Ronk Auditorium (Dwight Schar Education Building 301 College Blvd.).
