The Threads that Bind exhibition is curated by Priscilla Roggenkamp and is the culmination of her sabbatical work that includes studio exploration, research in contemporary fiber arts and travel to Poland for the International Triennial of Textiles.
The Threads That Bind exhibition is at the Coburn Gallery at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio, from August 22 through September 15.
A lecture by Priscilla on Contemporary Fiber Arts will take place Tuesday September 10th at 7pm at the Ronk Lecture Hall at Ashland University.
Priscilla is an Associate Professor of Art at Ashland University where she works primarily with art education students. Educated at Heidelberg College, Wright State University, University of Arkansas and Kent State University, Priscilla finds the combination of teaching art and creating art a comfortable and energizing balance.

Art Saturdays-2013 Fall Semester Class Schedule
Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery and Art Club have established “ Art Saturdays,” an educational and creative experience for children 4 to 13 years old. “Art Saturdays” will be offering classes on the following dates – September 28 and November 2 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Room 346 located in the Center for the Arts on the Ashland University campus.
October 19 session is from 10am to 11am.
Class sizes are limited.
Sept 28 – Clay for Young Artists $10.00
(Ages 7-13) 10am-12noon
Oct 19 – Painting for Young Artists (Ages 4-9) $5.00 /10am-11am
Nov 2 — “Art is Super” Super Heroes and Art $5.00

Opening Art Reception Today @4:30pm
