The award winners have been announced
for the Ashland University 2015 Juried Student Art Exhibition that will run
through April 1 in the University’s Coburn Gallery.
This exhibition offers $1,300 in
awards to student artists, including Best in Show, Everett S. Caldemeyer Award,
Dean’s Award , People’s Choice Award and awards in each of the seven art areas:
painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital media, design, drawing and ceramics.
The awards were announced at the opening reception of the exhibition on March
12, 2015.
The outside juror
for exhibition was John Hunting Hansen, he is a Studio Technician and Adjunct
Assistant Professor for the College of Wooster.
John accepted 78 entries of the 144 art entries submitted.
