Ohio Arts Council Presentation June 15@6:00pm


The Coburn Gallery and the Ashland Community Arts League will co-host a presentation by Kathy Signornio, Coordinator for Artist Programs and Percent for Art Office from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC), on Wednesday June 15 at 6:00pm in the Hawkins-Conrad Student Center auditorium at Ashland University. The presentation will provide information on the Individual Excellence Award program, the OAC's online grant application system and other individual artist services provided by the state agency. Following the the presentation there will be a question and answer period. The event is free and open to the public.




The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. The Ohio Arts Council was created in 1965 to foster and encourage the development of the arts and assist the preservation of Ohio's cultural heritage. With funds from the Ohio Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, the OAC provides financial assistance to artists and arts organizations.
